Step 1

Choose Your Van Type

The first step in building your van is to choose the right van type to meet your needs. At Wasatch Overland, we work primarily with Ford E-series and GM/Chevy Express Vans, we then add a high-top to the van to increase it's interior height!

We also work on all the modern vans, whether you prefer the Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, Ram Promaster, our expert staff will help you select the best base for your adventures.

Step 2

Design Your Floorplan

Work with our experienced Project Managers to build the van of your dreams. Their expertise will help guide you in the process of laying out the van for the best fit and functionality. Talking through your requirements means that you get exactly what you need, and not what you don't.

Step 3

Select Your Upgrades & Options

Customize your van with the features and upgrades that matter most. From off-grid power solutions to luxury finishes, our team will guide you through a variety of options, including:

Solar power and Redarc electrical systems
Water and heating solutions
High-quality interior finishes and cabinetry
Awnings, and additional storage solutions
Luxury captains seating options

Step 4

Start Your Build

Once your design is finalized, all that’s left is a small deposit to get the ball rolling. Our experienced craftsmen will then bring your vision to life, ensuring every detail is carefully crafted with precision and passion.

What types of vans do we build interiors in?

We are known for converting 1992 and newer Ford E-series and 1997 and newer Chevy Express/GMC Savana vans, as these are the vans that we add high-tops to, however we can build in any modern platform, for example, Sprinter, Transit or Promaster.

Why don't we have a fancy 3D van interior configurator like other builders?

3D configurators are great, however they are very expensive to build, host & maintain, very limited on the amount of 'configurations' and aren't always a great representation of the quality craftwork that we do.

What this means for you? By not having a configurator, we don't have to add extra cost to each interior to pay for that, which upholds our ethos of 'Boutique builds at blue collar pricing' - if you want to discuss and interior layout with us, call us and we can make custom renderings for you with as many adjustments as you need to feel stoked with your layout.

How long should I expect my van to be at Wasatch Overland for an interior build?

Builds can last up to 6 weeks, however our usual turnaround time is 5 weeks, this of course does depend on the complexity of your design for the interior.

How much does an interior cost?

This again really depends on the complexity, if you're looking for a simple build, with dinette, galley, heat, water and electrical, expect to pay around $40,000 to start - with pricing going upwards from that. Please reach out to us to get a custom estimate.

Why don't we have photo's or video of each completed van interior on the website?

We build 10-12 full interiors every year, along with all the other upfitting and high-tops, this would completely fill our website so we prefer to post our daily and weekly updates on Social Media, click the link below to follow along and see what type of work we do.
